16 core games planned for release over the coming years.

THQ has detailed its core game release slate for fiscal 2013, 2014 and beyond, six of which are still to be announced.
First up is UFC Undisputed 3, sneaking out on February 17 just inside THQ’s Q4 fiscal 2012. Then comes the publisher’s fiscal 2013 slate which includes Darksiders II in June, South Park The Game in Q3 FY13, a new WWE title in Q3 FY13, Metro: Last Light in Q4 FY13 and Devil’s Third in Q4 FY13. Two unannounced titles will also be released during the FY13 – THQ’s financial year runs from April 1 through March 31.
For fiscal 2014 and beyond THQ plans to release an unnamed title from Turtle Rock, inSANE from Volition, Homefront 2 from Crytek, the new game from Patrice Désilets’ THQ Montreal and Dark Millennium Online – the latter will be completed with the aid of a “partner,” THQ boss Brian Farrell has revealed.
THQ also has four unannounced core games in development for release in fiscal 2014 and beyond. The majority of all unannounced titles are THQ-owned IP.
The focus on core games comes following THQ’s decision to exit the kids’ games market.
OnlineKeyStore.com Analysis
THQ’s line-up for 2012 looks promising. UFC Undisputed 3 will be followed by the impressive looking Darksiders II, then the rather unknown quantity that is South Park The Game, and the guaranteed hit that is presumably WWE 13. The two unannounced titles for FY13 will be very important, with the company unable to afford high-profile flops.
